Liquid Memory 2020 Team work

This Liquid Memory project is aiming to extend the archive integration of multimedia timeline gallery to develop the immersive audiovisual experience of archives further.

To achieve this goal, our group come up an idea that we mainly design the LM website from three aspects, including the detailed classification of archives, the experience of sound art and the interactive experience of the website. For the classification, we have designed three main sections of the site, including my account, search, and timeline section, and each part will be sorted in detailed. To increase the experience of sonic art, we created the floating audio and video player for users, providing them with a more convenient way to enjoy the sonic art. For the interactive experience, we are thinking about designing a music box as the music box fits the concept of LM. And we also used several elements from the music box to create the timeline section and the visual design to make the site looks more consistent and interesting. Through this music box, the audience could explore the site randomly and interactively. There is also a keep turning circle stick to the left side of the page, and visitors could go back to LA anytime through this circle.
